Hello,

I wanted to know if it's possible to write the DAT in a country other than the US or Canada.

I am a Canadian citizen currently residing in South Korea and won't be returning until Sept.2008 which is my targeted year for going back to school for a second degree whether it be in engineering or dentistry (I hold a degree in BioSci).

I understand that I would have to do my interview in Canada, which is not too much of a problem, but flying over to North America to write a test is something I'm not too keen on doing.

Thank you in advance,

CM

Some US dental schools require the US DAT (example: UIC)

I doubt any schools accept foreign testing as a substitute for the DAT (except for the Canadian DAT which plenty of schools accept)

If you're coming back in September, you'll just have to apply at that time. There aren't any shortcuts (ie - like not going through the application process or taking the DAT)
