What is the best advice to give a person when beginning to study for DAT?

Give yourself enough time, don't be afraid to spend money on quality study materials, and use SDN as a resource but don't listen to everyone on the internet. 🙂

Cliff's AP Bio, Chad's, Destroyer, Bootcamp (worked great for me). Study hard and take the test when you feel ready. Don't be afraid to postpone the test because of the fee. If you're not prepared, you'll be spending another 300 (?) bucks to take it again.

As shonster said, don't take the test until you are ready. I had to retake and spend more money because I wasn't ready the first time. Good luck studying!

Yup, may be more expensive initially, but it sure beats having a difficult time during admissions.

Plan a lot. Don't forget to give yourself a day off or two. Exercise and amplify positive emotions. When you study, actually study. Make it a habit early on.
