I AM FINALLY DONE! WHOOHOOO!
PA 20 - 88.1%
QR 23 - 95.9%
RC 20 - 67.0% <-- 🙁
Bio 24 - 98.7% <--😀 YAY
GC 21 - 87.3%
OC 23 - 93.7%
TS 23 - 98.3%
AA 22 - 95.9%
My overall GPA is 3.71 and my Science is 3.68. I am applying to NYU, Stony Brook, UPenn and Tufts. I was wondering what ppl thought, What are my chances?? Thanks 😀
Here is my breakdown of the test:
I thought I did so much better in Perceptual than what I got. I probably made stupid mistakes. The angles were a little tough. And the folds in hole punching were a little whack.
I was expecting bio to be SOOO much harder than it actually was. I had no classification, and I spent a lot of time studying that. And there were no plant questions.
I forgot most of the Chem section. But it definately had less calculations than achiever/topscore.
Orgo was good as well. I didnt get any NMR.
Oh and one thing that I noticed was very different from any practice questions I did, was that there were no answer choices that said (A and B), or All of the above. Which is why I thought bio was pretty easy in that respect.
For Reading comp, I made a huge mistake. Since ppl said that it was more based on tone, I decided to do the kaplan method, and read it fast and jot down words that stand out. For the first passage I did that, which was a mistake. For the next 2 passages, I did it my way, and it was soo much better, and I had time left over. And there were alot of tone questions. Maybe if I did it my way from the beginning, I could have done better. But what can you do.
QR was good. There was a trig graph question. I would suggest skipping the questions that look like they might take a while, and come back to them at the end.
And to all those of you who are worried about the yellow laminated paper and a marker. DONT BE. I must say that it was better. They give you 3, so u can set it up like you would if it were paper. The marker is a little thicker, and you have to write bigger, but its still good.
I think I said enough, I am probably boring you all.
OH, I had a brownie and some soda in the break. That definately kept me going for the math section. B/c in practice I usually run out of steam and mess up at the end. But the brownie helped. LOL
Oh and I also used Kaplan, and took the course. I used Cliffs AP bio. Destroyer, top score and Achiever.
