hello everyone, I am taking DAT on 27th, july. I have done some practice on KAPLAN and TOPSCORE, here are my numbers:

ochem 18
math 21
PAT 18
RC 17
gchem 16

CDP1, 20 wow..

so, basically I only studied PAT, RC, MATH, OCHEM, and Gchem (only practiced GCHEM on kaplan, haven't done anything on topscore yet!). I am not sure what these numbers I got on topscore and kaplan tell me....you guys think my practice scores look normal? or way off..btw, I am studying on cliff ap bio right now, how long did u guys spend on this book? I read kaplan bb and felt all stuff are just general ideas, so i bought cliff ap bio and i found out that there are TOO MUCH info and i dont think i can put all of them into my head in two weeks...what you think about that...will i be fine to take the test on 27th?..plz..thank you very much!!

P.S people are saying that kaplan is easier than topscore, but how come i scored higher on topscore than kaplan? wired...

Better review your notes and know them inside and out, you want to be getting at least 20s. Although you can assume that your stats will go up from here but if pressure hits your during the DATs you may end up panicking.

did you buy the the DAT destroyer books because i thought they were the most useful! you must study the the answers as well!

i was scoring about the same as you on topscore and on the real thing i scored a 20 overall although i got a 16 on verbal ! oops! i just took the DAT once and didnt take any prep course.
my advice is just relax. when i was taking the test it felt pretty easy its either you know it or you dont i dont feel like there was much thinking except for the PAT section.
last thing i personally thought that kaplan wasnt very good for the plants and ecology stuff i used the schaum series books.
i dont even know if a 20 is that great anymore but i got into a couple of schools!
good luck and just relax its really not that bad...preparation is the key!

thank you for your reply. no, i didnt buy destroyer but I know it is the one of the best materials to study on for DAT, I only got kaplan + topscore ( want to know how close I can possibly be), and I am going to buy CDP, you know the funny thing is, I can g0t 18 overall on PAT but only got 3 or 4 questions correct in front-back-view thing..so front-back view is my WORST part on PAT(also the 3-D part), that;s why I think I should get CDP and see if I can find something works to me there! any adivce for this? thank you!😀

which one did u get? u think 450 practice questions are good enough?

how close you guys think topscore would possibly be? I scored 18 in all three OCHEM sections and 17 in one of RC sections, QR is 18. Gchem is 18-19 in kaplan practice. PAT is 20 on CDP. I dont know, my DAT is coming up in a week and I dont know if I am ready to go or need to spend more time on it...plz give me some more advice...thank you the great help from all of u guys..😀

Was getting 17/18/for NS on Kaplan and Topscore and getting 14 on Achiever. Math/RC and PAT I would get 23+. Turned out my real DAT scores flipflopped around and Math turned out to be my lowest score, RC/PAT dropped and all my NS went up so got 21/21/20

I'm pretty much using the same material, topscore, kaplan and CDP..I am getting pretty bad scores in biology, like 16-18, how was ur biology before real DAT?

similar 14-18, depending on which practice exam I took. But I studied bio for like 2 days and then started taking the exams. I don't recommend studying like me though. I probably should have put a bit more time in.
