Hello All,

I took my DAT in November of 2011, and I'll be applying to dental schools this upcoming June. I have not applied before.

My question is: when I create my AADSAS application for the first time (using my dentpin), will my DAT scores automatically be uploaded into my AADSAS application? Has anybody had issues with this before, or did your scores upload into AADSAS seamlessly?

FYI, I did designate AADSAS participating schools be sent my scores when I registerted for the DAT back in October.

Scores will eventually be imported into your AADSAS application by simply entering your DENTPIN and your date of birth. However, you must have indicated at least one AADSAS participating school when you registered to take/sit/destroy the DAT. If you did not, the ADA has this to say about it. Call and verify, of course.

Did you select the ADEA AADSAS participating dental schools when you completed the DAT application? If, when you completed the DAT application, you did not indicate an ADEA AADSAS-participating dental school(s) to receive your official DAT scores, you must visit www.ada.org/dat.aspx, and request a score report be sent to the ADEA AADSAS-participating dental school(s). Your scores will then be sent to ADEA AADSAS and imported into your application. A fee will apply.

EDIT: I notice you said you DID designate schools. So you're good to go! I misread, but I am leaving the information here for others to reference. This question came up in another thread for someone who did not select schools. PS, you're a PAT machine.
