Hey all you pre-dents! I am selling my Kaplan Review Book and Workbook along w/ flashcards and study sheets that I got from paying the crazy expensive Kaplan Prep Course and also selling my DAT Destroyer and MATH Destroyer 2011 Editions. A pre-dental guide book and Cliff's AP Biology book will be included if you purchase all of this material together.
All these study materials together will be $275
If you want to buy seperately:
All Kaplan materials will be $150
or
Both DAT & MATH Destroyer 2011 Edition will be together $150
These materials are great for prepping for the DAT and your score will depend on the amount of effort you put in studying and how good you are at taking standardized tests to some extent. I would say these materials helped me to review a bunch of material I had forgotton, but honestly I had a hard time period with the DAT, regardless of what material I had to study. But, do not waste money on buying the actual prep course through Kaplan b/c the study materials are just fine to use alone. For biology, you NEED the kaplan review book and Cliff's AP bio. Memorize it all like crazy!
I just got accepted to UMKC School of Dentistry for next year and need to sell these materials! I just want to tell you all that you dont have to have a ridiculously high score to get accepted to dental school, but rather a solid enough score that comes with lots of shadowing experience, job experience, a great personality that can connect w/ your interviewer and the school alone, and most important I think is the gpa.
A lot of people on SDN did not believe that my DAT score was competitive enough and I was shot down a lot, but I disagreed and had some loyal supporters. I had 3 interviews out of 5 schools I applied to and after interviews, I got accepted to 2/3 of those schools. So, it all depends on your entire package that will decide if you get interviews/accepted or not.
