i took a practice DAT thru kaplan and math was a weak section. I am trying to practice the math section but would like to avoid spending 100-130 dollars on math destroyer or crack math. I picked up peterson's gre/gmat math review from the store for 20 bucks and have taken some practice tests. Does anybody have experience prepping with this book/ other GRE books? Are the practice tests comparable to the real DAT or is it necessary to get math destroyer or crack math to really get the level of difficulty found on the real DAT?

the math section on the dat is tough your gon need all the help you can get.........do a basic math review with kaplan or i guess u can try ur gre book.......im not too sure how helpful the gre book will be.......but i know ur trying to avoid spending the money on destroyer but its honestly worth it in my opinion if you use it along with other sources.........and theres a good deal for the both of them together it'll be ur complete package for the dats.......and it has more problems than other sources so i guess try to get ur hands on that or anything you can as well best of luck!

are you going to buy DAT destroyer?

if you are shell out the 50 bucks and get math destroyer too.

the general GRE math is way too basic. at least when I skimmed through my brothers.

the GRE subject test for math is too much. Its heavily calculus based.

Now if you don't like that.

Go to a public library and check out a book that goes over what is now called the SAT subject tests.

You want Math Level 2.

I found that my old SAT II math IIC covers pretty much everything that the DAT math asks. The distribution maybe different but I think you're looking for practice.

Yeah like they said you definitley dont want to use the GRE math. It cover every thing from vector calculus, partial diffy q to number theory and complex analysis.
