SO i've been doing the kaplan online course which ended about a month ago.
Since then I've been review cliff's AP bio, CDP, finished all the online material and recently worked on DAT destroyer.

Kaplan practice tests I've been getting
19 AA 20 PAT
19 AA 21 PAT
18 AA 22 PAT

I want at least a 20 but looking at my bio, chem and orgo, ive been getting 17's and for orgo...I'm doing the worst at..

Ugh any last minute advice? I don't want to reschedule my exam either.
On top of this, i have a genetics and vert. morphology test on monday and tuesday

It looks like you urgently need to revisit GC/OC...

It might be a bit extreme, but maybe you should buy into chad's video series and catch up on your worse section. You could review all the OC videos in around 12 hours. His videos are great for refreshing the basic principles! Don't go into the test not truly understanding the differences between bases vs nucleophiles/acidic vs basic/aprotic vs protic...

For example, understanding why a grignard won't react with a carbonyl is an overlooked fact by many and it all comes down to basic principles. DAT Destroyer explains why something is correct but it also assumes you understand the basics so I highly recommend the videos as a last ditch effort in your situation! Best $25 you will ever spend...

Honestly, it is all about understanding the basic principles of OC while having all the rxn's memorized. Good Luck!

Take heart. Keep practicing and you'll be fine by Monday. Keep mastering the old Kaplan tests, and you'll ace the real DAT chem sections. Kaplan preps you well for most of it. Bio is a hair harder, but if you just master the old test questions you'll ace Chem and Ochem.

Thanks! i bought some Chad's videos. As soon as my genetics and bio test are done with on Tuesday, I'll go straight to studying!

Any last tid bits?

Chad's videos and Destroyer. Study smart; pick stuff that you are struggling with and keep reviewing it.

honestly its a bit late to be starting to look at chad's videos. I learned the most from doing problems and learning from my mistakes. If I were you, I would only watch the parts of the vids that you feel are your weaknesses. Honestly, I probably wouldn't even watch them. I would go through destroyer and learn from there. The organic and gen chem in destroyer is sufficient and will def. increase your score. For organic, know the roadmaps like the back of your hand, and understand each problem in the book. I think that is time better spent. Study smarter, not harder. good luck
