I am taking my DAT on Monday and have been using math destroyer to prepare for QR. I've heard that this is a good representation of the section on the actual DAT. I'm horrible at math but I'd like to get at least an 18 on the QR section. I have timed myself for each math destroyer practice test and have continually scored in the 17-19 range. Do you think I'll be able to pull an 18 I'm worried the DAT QR is going to be harder. Thanks for your responses!

What are you using to gauge your qr score? I was using kaplan BB where a score of 15 is getting 16 questions right, but for ADA DAT sample test (not free one) they have a 15 being 22 questions right.

I'm using the scoring guide on the free ADA sample getting about 23-27 correct out of 40. Thats a huge discrepancy do you know if that's the scale used on the real DAT?

I used DAT destroyer, and compared to the actual test it is a bit harder. The actual test was easier (If your computer works lol). Just study by the numbers meaning the most questions are general arithmatic, next geometry, probabilty and 2-4 trig conversions. Knowing these should get you 18+! use strategies such as backsolving and picking numbers. Logic will get you a long way as well!

I used math destroyer and was consistently scoring 30 out of 40 during my timed tests. I scored a 24 on the real thing. Math destroyer is definitely harder, if you understand everything - you'll be fine.
