I'm taking the OATs later this summer, and I want to find a book that will supplement the Kaplan OAT Review Notes that I already have. Which do you think would be more beneficial - DAT review books or the MCAT books? I know that the DATs don't have a Physics section, so I will need to find more Physics resources, but I'm scared the MCAT books are too detailed and that I will waste my time studying minute details.

Input?

Hello!

I haven't done much in-depth studying yet, so I suppose you could take my opinion lightly.

I found that DAT and OAT books, especially from kaplan are pretty much the same, aside from physics.

Speaking to others that took the exam...they said that MCAT books really help challenge yourself, especially on the topics you need a little push, and some said they felt they did better with it.

Since you have OAT books already, I would get MCAT books for a level up in studying. DAT books seem to just be extra practice if you need it.

Good luck!
