DAT PAT strategy

If I were you I would just skip TFE, that is what I'm going to do. Keyholes from what I hear on the actual DAT aren't that bad. TFE just take a lot of time, so skip those because lets say on your test the pattern folding is hard and requires more time then expected. You will be s.o.l
I say just go to bootcamp. and do a bunch of TFE problems. Just keep practicing! Bootcamp PAT seems much harder than the real thing though..

I've been doing Cube Counting first on the last couple PAT practice sets. Something about counting and knowing almost for sure that I'm getting questions right seems to boost my confidence and gets me going on a steady pace. I'm not sure if this strategy is really going to work since Cube Counting is the 4th or 5th?? section.
I keep reading that Keyholes were easier than expected on the real test but does anyone know if a certain practice exam (or company) is the consensus difficulty level to the real thing for this particular section?
so how would skipping the TFE work? do you just randomly pick and answer and mark each one, then go back at the end?

Yea idk if they have a "Review All Skipped" option at the end lol
You shouldn't skip any question anyways, always put down something at the very least. There's a 20-25% chance you're right, so if you guess 5 questions you're likely to get one of them right! This way you don't have to scramble at the end if you run out of time.

Yeah...I was thinking the same thing. Might as well just do them and just go back if I have time lol. Thanks Ari!...Really really really appreciate DAT Bootcamp. The best source for the DAT hands down!
i have the same fear i would go...
I have this terrifying image of me clicking "End" or something by accident after skipping through Key holes and TFE and not having the chance to go back to them. I would probably faint right on the spot lol

I skipped the TFE and came back to it...best decision I ever made...I would have been happy with a 17 PAT, but instead got a 19 because I had 15 min to go through TFE.
