Hi,

I am planning to take my DAT's this summer, but I am going to be applying NEXT year - the '09 cycle.

When I clicked to register for a date to take them, it showed me that I have to know what schools I want to send my scores to.

Are the scores sent right after you take the test? - or do you have control over when they are sent? (Can i send them when I apply next year, as well as choose where I send them?)

Is it a good idea to study and take my DAT's this summer, instead of taking classes?

Thanks - any advice would be helpful.

For the most schools, I've taken all the science pre-reqs.
It's my junior year. (I will be a 5th year when i graduate)

But I'm missing one physics class, and one O-Chem lab.

I was thinking of taking those this summer.

Also, can't you apply without having some pre-reqs?

you have taken the pre-req's necessary for the DAT. i am not saying it can not be done, but how do you plan on taking 2 science classes and study for your DAT's, or is it one or the other?
Being that you are applying next year why the rush?
Do well in those classes and give yourself more time to study for the DAT.
Best,

dan
