DAT practice test thoughts - extend or take

Hey all!

First time posting on sdn here. I just thought I would ask if I should extend or take my DAT test?

What scares me is that I did not put in time to touch DAT Biology Destroyer at all!!!! I finished Destroyer chem and ochem once and am doing well

BC score: Bio/GC/OC
#1: 20/20/19
#4: 20/24/20
#5: 20/19/19

I used Feralis' Notes and Cliff Notes to study Bio and Qvault and BC practice exams

Do you think it will hurt me to not touch Destroyer Bio??

My test is in about two weeks

Also BC PAT is scored:
BC #1 16
CDP #3 19
TS #1 18, #2 17, #3 17

Should i be worried about my PAT score? Is it impossible to get a solid 20 or 19 on this??

Two weeks is still a lot of time, especially if you are in crunch study mode. I think with additional practice you can earn a 20 or a 19 on the PAT. I also believe you can score 20+ in each of the sciences.

I'm betting you can earn a competitive score. However, if things don't go your way 90 days from your test date puts you back into September which wouldn't be any good. If you believe you can make gains in two weeks then go for it, if you feel you need more time it may be best to postpone until early July (sure beats September!)

Well I have slightly less that two weeks, 11 day left, but what would you recommend?

I will complete and review all of BC by then and try to do as many BC PAT before my test as well.

Should I do Destroyer for Bio to come close to 20+? How else can I practice chem/ochem to get a 20+

What ever topic you feel weakest in is the subject you should work problems in. For me, Destroyer & Chad were my foundation and bootcamp and topscore cleaned up any loose ends.

Since I have 8 days now, would you recommend I take BC practice test in a real sitting and review those after I finish? Or stick to my weaknesses like PAT, certain bio sections like phylum categories and what ever else? Thank you again!

I would definitely NOT skip doing the destroyer biology. It is the reason I went from a 17 to a 28 in the biology section. Go through it at the very least one time. It will be worth your time you invest in it. I would be very cautious of score predictors sometimes they are misleading, especially in a fact based section like biology.

Highly second the rec on Destroyer Bio - really good for assessing what you know.
Ultimately though, I would know AP bio in and out and I think that's your highest yield product. If you're crunched for time regarding destroyer, just skip to the answers and read (obviously not as good as assessing by doing the test, but if you're in a squeeze do what you can). I was also a user on a new dat product datgenius that has a solid bio section.

I have completed 270 Bio destroyer question and am continuing to complete than as much as I can while doing flashcards with a little review of flashcards here and there.

my test is in 6 days now and I do not want to postpone

How long do you think it will take to secure a decent PAT score:

I am a little worried cause I have not even touched a 20 once yet. I do not want to be hitting a 16 on the test in PAT

Just took a CDP test at got a 18 (66/90) ran out of time for pattern folding, 80% in all sections and 7/15 in pattern
