I wouldn't stress too much over which material you study. Personally I only used two hard-copy resources: Barrons and Kaplan. Barrons sucked. Kaplan was ok, but I'm sure you can find something better. Mostly I used free online resources to study for the PAT (which paid off with a score of 26). Here are a few of the sites I found helpful:
DAT overview. This site is great...if you havent already been using it, be sure to look around. http://predds.net/dat-guide/
Best perceptual practice link. It's the best because it is fun, repeatable, and it helps you develop the correct mentality required to excel in all perceptual sub-sections. I recommend spending a few minutes ever day on it. http://woodgears.ca/eyeball/
Old exams (or sample exams) are your best resource for practice and for identifying your weak areas, so get your hand on as many as you can. Here is the official DAT from 2007 (I think) with additional information. I'm sure you've already seen this, but if you haven't here's the link...use it as a standard to see if the resources you have are up to par. http://www.ada.org/sections/educationAndCareers/pdfs/dat_test_sampleitems.pdf
I only used CDP, not even the PAT section included in KBB/Topscore/Achiever and got a 23.
My Destroyer was a 2009 edition and I don't feel like there's a major difference when I compare it to my friend's 2012 version.
Use Topscore first. Achiever if you're hardcore and not a pu$$y.
I averaged around 21 on DATQvault PAT. I averaged around 23 on CDT PAT.
On the real one I got a 22, haha. I would still go with CDT PAT because DATQvault doesn't explain **** when you get something wrong.
