I will be taking the DAT next week, can anyone tell me if a periodic table and scratch paper will be provided. Also, can I make some notes once inside the room, before the exam starts. I would like to write down some formulas on scratch paper before starting the DAT. Any info would be much appreciated.
Thanks you.

If I remember correctly, they do give you a periodic table and some scratch paper. You have to click on a button to begin the test - they make you sit through a tutorial anyways, so you can make notes at that time. I wrote down the sin/cos/tan values and other random junk that I just couldn't fit into my head at that time.

good luck with your DAT - hopefully you'll score well as your holiday present.

cheers.

The periodic table can is only available on the monitor....so you can't look at both the question and the table at the same time....if I remember corrtectly.

I beleive I wrote down formulas on scratch as well. I'm not sure if I did it before or after the time actually started.
