I was wondering if the actual day is similar to Achiever with regards, for example.

What's true:

Statement 1
Statement 2
Statement 3


1 only,
2 only,
1 & 2
1, 2 and 3...

Is the actual DAT in this format?

Also, in the blue book of Kaplan, why do they only allow 50 minutes for the RC when actual test is 60...

It's one of two things. Either it's a complete typo, or they're talking about the OAT b/c on the OAT, which is very similar to the DAT, the RC section is 50 min and 40 questions, not 60 min and 50 questions like the DAT.
