Hey guy, im sorry if theres already a thread like this one, but I looked everywee and couldn't find the answer, but i have my O-chem sequence left which I'm doing in the summer, and after that I think I would be more then ready to do the DAT. Do you guys think its possible to apply at the beggining of June without all the requirements, and then have everything mailed to them as soon as its finished. That way I figure might help me if my app. is early, since my GPA is somewhat of a sub 3.0. I know I probably won't get into dental school, but if I do have a shot, don't you think this is the best route to take. I could take my DAT on august 10th for example, but have my app in way before that. What do you all think?

thanks in advance🙂

Hey George, it is a excellent idea to have all your other stuff sent to AADSAS even if you don't have your DAT taken at that time since usually it will take AADSAS one month to process the application and then another 2 weeks for the application to be mailed out to the school. The result of the DAT will be send directly to the schools anyways so I think even if you submit your application (w/o the DAT), both the application and DAT scores will probably arrive around the same time.

Your DAT scores (if you plan to take to around Aug 10th) will arrive to dental schools around the end of Aug, and at this time, it will still be early in the application cycle, so you will have a good chance of gaining interviews!

Good Luck!
