i should be fine if i take organic chem lab 1 over the summer while studying for the DAT right? its everyday for a couple of hours

yes you should be totally fine! plus on the DAT there are 30 organic chemistry questions the chance of finding a lab question is 1/30!

Shouldn't be too bad. It's a tougher lab but it's fun IMO.. less of a cookie-cutter procedure and more of a do it yourself thing. Plus it'd be helpful for you to see how all your knowledge applies to actual examples.
