I have been getting the same score on the dat qvault bio 6 out of the 8 tests I've taken so far (+1 and -1 for the other two) and it is very frustrating! I suppose its good to be consistent, but where is the improvement?? Ha, oh well. Just venting.

What are you making ? Try not to let practice scores get to you.

I am trying my best not to.

What seems to be the problem that is consistent among all of there tests? Is there a trend? Maybe you need more exposure (I don't know, just a suggestion). Try out Ferali's notes. Those are more than enough for the DAT.

hey what materials have you gone through so far? and what are you scoring on qvault? i went through cliffs once and ap barrons bio (90% of it except for eco and animal behavior last 2 chapters)..I am scoring around 18-19 missing most questions in eco and animal development so once i get those the score should go up a bit (at least i hop so!). Have you been looking at the trends of which topics you are missing? Oh and qvault has some very nasty problems (at least a few) in each test

My scores are fine, I would just like to see something higher since I've been working through bio a lot. You know, the usual complaints about bio! ha

I'm not discouraged really, just slightly frustrated that I can't get the scores higher. But, truly, they aren't bad at all so I shouldn't be complaining.

I've gone through cliffs and 1/4 of barrons and have gone through most of ferali's notes. I usually miss at least one question that I knew and should have realized. I do the best in physiology and genetics, but the others are hit and miss depending on which topic I miss most of. I seem to miss questions with genetic drift vs gene flow, plant questions, taxonomy, and random cell bio questions.

How did you expose yourself to physiology? Like the bones and skin structure ?

22's mainly- I know, sounds like I'm wasting your time, but to get the same score over and over without improvement is disheartening. I was just being a whiner I guess.

👍 i get it! im frustrated that i can't improve my PAT no matter how many hours i spent on it

Don't get discouraged. When I started my practice tests I was only getting 15's. After realizing where I lacked knowledge, I studied up, made notes, and started scoring in the mid to high 20's on the tests. You have to keep your head up and continue studying. Nobody can truly memorize EVERYTHING for the test, so just keep trying your best and it will come.

Wow, 15's to upper 20's? That's a crazy increase! Ferali's notes??
