DAT Qvault vs. Real DAT

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
Might as well just buy the whole version for $21. I think it is worth it.

Good representation overall, broken down into topics. You can pinpoint which sections you are weak at.

I liked those questions and yes some of them were really hard but overall, very nice representation of the real DAT bio section.

I don't know which one is diagnostic, but i had a few "subject tests" like 5 of them.

Kaplan questions were way too detailed. But you can still learn from them so take adv. of the questions.

The test I took was an online one available from their website. I did bad on the bio, and felt like it was stuff I had never studied. You are right, that the questions were very detailed. I wondered if it was to scare me into taking their class because I did so poorly.

If you had your basic concepts run through with AP Cliffs and supplementing some practice questions like Qvault or Topscore, you will be just fine. Just giving you a heads up that when you see a question, it either comes to you as 100% so clear versus 0% blank. out of 40 questions, I would say you will be able to answer or reason out the right answer around 34~36 of them. ~4 I probably would have never known even if I studied for 2 more years lol. I marked 4 questions on bio, and I got all of them wrong lol... but that's just me. I've seen people nailing 30 on BIO, so it is luck of the draw. Unless you're aiming a 30, you're on the right track. Good luck!

Thank you for the help!

I have finished my run through with Cliffs as you have said and am considering doing another book like Barrons or Schaums but may just stick with the DAT QVault based on what you are saying, as I will also be doing topscore tests in the upcoming month and do have DAT Destroyer I could pull bio questions from.

Any other input you have will of course be welcome, for any portion of the DAT.

Thanks again
