Hi everyone,

I took my DAT today and got a 17 AA 🙁 Im really disappointed at this score and wanted to know the resources you all used for a competitive score. I purchased the DAT destroyer book and have a Bootcamp account, and I saw the 10 week schedule Ari uploaded. Has anyone tried this? Thanks for your help/advice!

The 10-week schedule written by Ari is good. I got a 25AA on mine this past Monday.

I used:
-Cliff's AP Bio
-Chad's Videos + outlines
-Dat Destroyer
-Math Destroyer
-Bootcamp
-Crack PAT
-2007 ADA DAT

I spent my first month going though Cliffs and Chad's stuff all while making notes on the material. After, I went through the Destroyers, and finally ended with Bootcamp tests. I took the 2007 DAT a week before my exam and then reviewed my notes in the last few days.

Pro tip - Make copies of the organic roadmaps in the DAT Destroyer, use white out on the products, and make more copies of those so you have disposable practice worksheets. You'll learn the reactions much faster!🙂

Thats a great idea with the roadmaps sections! Didn't think of that one before. I was actually going to post separately on the 10 week study schedule to see how useful it is.

I think it is weird that you got through those materials and ended up not getting a 20+ score. I think that Bootcamp and the Destroyer are the perfect way to go, but when you are going through the materials again you should try experimenting with different methods of studying so that you can retain all of the information better. If you need any help feel free to message me.

If you have the time/money, you should also check out DATQVault for their SNS questions.
I think maybe my issue was that I didn't have a hard schedule and gave more attention to some sections more than others. But also, I tend to clam up in a testing environment. How did you study with the Destroyer books? I will definitely message you for tips!
