DAT Retake App on Hold Advice

Hello guys!
I am retaking my DAT for the the 3rd time. Some schools have deadlines by October and my app is currently on hold till I get my new scores. However, I would not be able to take it in October due to some personal circumstances. I want to email the schools that put my app on hold to take it off and just consider my recent scores. Any ideas on how to write up the email? I'm having trouble wording it without it being a little off. Thanks!
