Hi guys,

Are these scores competitive enough? Or do I need to retake? I wouldn't be able to retake until first week of August according to the 3 month rule.

PAT 18

Biology 20
Gen Chem 19
Orgo 20
TS 20
AA 19

cGPA: 3.90
sGPA: 3.84

Thanks!

Your DAT scores are average, but your GPA is above average. I would submit your application. In terms of a retake, I'm on the fence about that. Would it help if you did better? Yes. Is there a risk you might do worst? Yes. Is it entirely nessecary with your grades? I don't think so.

Here is someone who was in a similar dilemma who got into some schools . She had a higher gpa but she also had a much lower RC. http://forums.studentdoctor.net/threads/3-8-gpa-4-0-science-gpa-20-ts-19-aa-16-rc.1136743/

She is still active so I advise you get in touch with her if you can.

Lol you're good dude. If your goal is to become a dentist you shouldn't have any issue. Your DAT is average and your gpa is above average.

If your goal is to go to Harvard then you may want to think about a retake.
