I have to retake my DAT (sometime ~ Nov. 6th) and I need some advice about payments and how to register

1) Do you have to pay the $25 dollar fee again to send these scores out? This is getting quite preposterous here with these fees!

2) How do I register for a retake? On the ADA site, I didn't see anywhere for this...I suppose you just register for another DENTPIN and go through the process all over again?

These fees all the time are killing me...ADA must be the richest company on earth!

1) No, you never had to in the first place. This is the first cycle where they eliminated that and it's all done through DENTPIN.

2) You use your same DENTPIN and register just like you did the first time. Register on ADA --> receive e-mail --> wait to be approved --> sign up on Prometric --> etc etc etc.

Hey thanks a lot...I am applying to the University of Mississippi dental school though (they do not participate in the AADSAS)...so I think to be safe (since it's my #1 choice) I will pay the $25 for that one, unless you think I should do otherwise. Thanks again and best of luck to you!

Then designate it as one of your 5 free schools when you sign up to take it again. Problem solved.
