Hey guys, I am planning to study for and take the DATS next summer of 2012 while applying. Would I still be considered an early applicant with this plan? Also, where can I find schedule for possible examination dates for the DATs of 2012?

I don think they have that on the internet saying "Dates for DAT"

Once you pay the 320$ for your DAT exam, u have exactly a year from the day you get ur registration confirmation from ADA to take your DAT

eg if ADA sends you an email on 08/25/2011, then you can register for the DAT between 08/25/2011 to 08/25/2012...plenty of time to schedule an exam and work out a schedule...

from here you go to the prometric website and follow the steps to schedule an exam...Here you can see which Dates are available for you to take the exam.

The DAT is offered every single day of the year. You must get a DENT pin and register and stuff and you can do that as early as now. You pay the $320 and pick a date. If you want to apply in the earliest of the early, take the DAT by June 1st. However, most people need a good 2 months for studying. So early July is a better bet. Many people also take the DAT in August, but the earlier the better. Good luck 😎.

So if I take it sometime mid July - Early August, can I still apply that same summer? If I do, will I still be considered an early applicant? When does it start to be not early? Also, where are the test locations?
