DAT Scheduling nightmare

Hey guys heres my story, please advice me of what to do next:

I called and booked a DAT test for July 8th SATURDAY [since I have a job mon-fri], the lady told me TWICE and asked me to tell her WHEN AND WHERE my exam is.... this is like a month ago

on sunday I find out that the lady had booked me for June 8th [A WEDNESDAY!]and I was a "no-show" at the test center.....



status at the moment:
so now i called prometric - "sorry we cant help you, call ada"
called ada - will call you back tomorrow



Any suggestions? anyone know if they voice record conversations?

didnt they send u an email with the date of your exam? look at that dude. and if it was their fault, u can use that email against them. otherwise, i dont think theyre gonna do anything

u have to go by whatever date is in that email. its your responsibility to make sure everything is straight on the reciept which they email you. in the meantime, schedule another one just in case asap so u get a decent date

What a bummer...hopefully an error was made by someone else and not yourself. Get ready to call all your schools and try and explain! But hopefully they can just reregister you.

Do you still have to wait the 90 days if the error was by you?

when you sign up they usually send a receipt of the registration transaction to your e-mail address for your copy. If you did not be on top of things i doubt you can hold them responsible.

wait, im also having a similar prob

i registered for july 1st and never got an email either, then when i tried to reschedule, their service was down every single day

finally i talked to someone on my test day and they told me to call them after july 4th, which is today, ive been trying to get ahold of them all day and noone is picking up

they also considered me a no show for the test day although i talked to someone before my test and explained everything to them

i have no idea what is going on, and other than a phone, there is no way to contact them

question: does adea find out about your no show? even though its not my fault? and what happens now, can i not take the DAT or something???

dont even bother contacting prometric since they are stupid stupid stupid

currently my status:
I called ADA talked to them and my issue will be resolved, ie I will be rescheuled for next week hopefully... yippeee extra time to study!!
