ok...why can't i log in to prometric's site to schedule the dat?????? i've received an eligibility number...it's been 24 hours since i've received the notice... i've entered the # and the 1st 4 letters of my last name in the appropriate entry boxes on the scheduling site...why won't the site recognize this info?????

Just call them. They are friendly people on the phone and will tell you wha the problem is.

I too had the same problem, but then realized I switched my first and last name while registering. Entering the first 4 letters of my first name got me in. Granted I had to get them switched later on.

that's odd you were able to enter the site, even with the names reversed, because i've since been informed scheduling is done only by phone...

Well… you can. They even told me over the phone that the scheduling I did with my names reversed while on the web site would not be affected once they corrected the names situation.

But do what you must to get your DAT scheduled. That’s really the only important thing here.

Heh...I'm trying! I called to schedule and was told they were unable to do it..my # wasn't being recognized by their computer, so had to contact tech support...apparently they're having problems putting new registrants into the system! Should be up and running by tomorrow...and yes, you're right..according to this other rep i spoke with, scheduling can be done online!!
