DAT Score Calculation

Hi guys,

I was wondering how the scores on the DAT are calculated?
Is there a formula based on the percentage on each section?
Is there a penalty for wrong answers?

raw scores are gathered and all you find out are the standard scores (1-30). how the standard scores relate to the raw scores is a total mystery and depends on some type of secret curve. there is no formula to determine what a raw score will translate to, but there are estimates which are pretty close. here's an example:

there is no penalty for wrong answers - ALWAYS guess if you can't figure out the right answer.
