Hi guys, I have a question, i was looking at some else's score today, and I found out the scores are similar to mine, but mine are a little higher in most sections, however, we have the same AA! I dont understand. do we even have the same percentile? can some one please explain.

someone vs. mine
Biology: 21 vs.20
Chemistry: 21 vs. 24
Organic Chemistry: 20 vs. 21
Reading Comprehension: 19 vs. 20
Quantitative Reasoning: 22 vs. 21
PAT: 16 vs. 21
Total Science: 21 vs. 22
Academic Average: 21 vs. 21

You got a 21 in QR, but you didn't realize what Academic Average means?

"someone" is on the low side of a 21. If any of his sections (other than PAT or TS) was to be one point lower then he would have gotten a 20.

He/she got a 20.6 which rounds up.

You got a 21.2 which rounds down.

more questions in biology= more weight for biology.

Perhaps your lower score in bio is a bigger difference.

That only matters for the TS score, as it isn't the average of your three science scores but its actually your grade based on a total of 100 science questions.

The AA is simply the average of your 5 academic tests, so bio is no different from RC or QR.

Exactly...It's out of the 100 questions in science.
