Hi,

I'm taking my DATs for the first time in May. I do have a pretty good sense of what makes a good score based on your posts and dental school statistics.

I was wondering what minimum score you guys think would virtually guarantee acceptance to any possible program assuming a decent science gpa of ~3.6?

Sorry for the general, subjective nature of this query. Just curious if you think there's a magic number that automatically grants you admission to some places.

DAT scores do not guarantee acceptance. You have to be a well rounded applicant to get any interviews, let alone acceptances.

20+ should put you in a very competitive position, as the previous poster mentioned. Add a good gpa, and some decent EC's, and you're good to go. 👍

Scores don't guarantee a position. They can greatly help you get accepted though 🙂. Just do as best as you can. You'll probably be fine with a 20+.
