Hello all,

I plan to take the DAT in January, but I won't be applying until the summer. Does the 5 free schools to send scores to not apply to me? Or do I write down five school I know I will definitely be applying to?

Thank you for all your help!

bump plus another question:

in the AP bio book, there is a fat section on plant structures and stuff but its not listed on the DAT examinee guide. some people on the forums do talk about getting questions about plants though...will they be asking about xylem and phloem and what not? its not in the kaplan book either so im wondering if i should even be studying it...

can someone please clarify it for me?

Even I who didn't study plant bio for a decade still knows what xylem and phloems are. I think they are the most basic stuff from plant bio and you must know them before even study the other things in plant in my opinion.

I thought Kaplan BB has plant section, no??

i felt the kaplan white book has all of the plant info you need..if you want more go to ap cliffs

AP cliffs was great for plant biology, I thought the kaplan blue book was rather skimpy especially on photosynthesis which had 1 page, 1 diagram. I'd defintely use AP cliffs...I thought for bio kbb was weak.
