I figured I'd chip in my scores and study habits from this experience - I know reading everyone else's experience helped me greatly, so I'll pay it forward.

As a preface, I took the Canadian DAT and this was my first time testing. I am currently doing my Masters degree in Biochemistry

Scores:

RC: 23
BIO: 21
CHEM: 28
TS: 23
AA: 24
PAT: 21

Study Materials:

Biology: Here I used a combination of Feralis notes + Cliffs AP 3rd Ed. This is the section I spent the most time on, and as you can see it was still my lowest score. You really need to know everything! A lot of the questions on the test can feel random, but I feel the two resources I used did cover everything I saw on the test. I used practice tests from IQ Publications to test my knowledge - I suppose it did the job, but I wish I had purchased Destroyer, it seems like a better testing resource.

Chemistry: I honestly didn't spend much time here - I teach a lot of first year chemistry labs, so the material was still fresh in my mind. Still, I went on Chad's videos and looked through the sections he goes over for general chemistry. I didn't actually watch the videos, but I his video titles as a study guideline. I used old class notes/textbooks/wikipedia to roughly cover all the material. I also used practice tests from IQ Publications - Again, I felt it did an okay job of pointing out my knowledge deficiencies, but Destroyer seems like a better resource.

RC: Again, I used IQ Publications. I feel the only way you can study for this section is to do practice tests, so I suppose it worked well enough for me. The IQ book does have a brief opening section which gives helpful tips on how to approach certain questions, so all and all it was a decent resource.

PAT: I used Crack the Dat PAT. I felt this prepared me well enough, though I would say the actual DAT was a little bit harder.

Thanks again to everyone here, you all helped motivate me to study hard. Cheers!

Figured I should put in my two cents as well. Like Armarine, these results are for the Nov 2014 Canadian DAT.

RC 23
BIO 24
CHEM 23
TS 24
AA 23
PAT 21

Prep Materials:

RC
- IQ publications, didn`t feel like it helped much
- CTD, practice tests were very useful
Get your hands on as many practice tests as you can!

BIO
- CTD, practice tests helped with obscure details important for the CDAT
Wiki the topics of the practice test question which you get wrong and familiarize yourself with them. I am a genetics major and found this section relatively easy.

CHEM
- Chad`s Videos, VERY useful
- CTD, practice tests revealed the topics which I was weak in
Invest in Chad`s Videos if chemistry isn`t your forte.

PAT
- CTD, practice tests were realistic (apart from angles) but slightly easier than the real CDAT
All it takes is practice.

Several general pointers:
1) CTD comes in a digital format which is unrealistic with regards to the CDAT. I printed out the practice tests on paper, which was especially helpful in simulating the RC and PAT sections.
2) Bubbling in the scantron sheet on the real test took MUCH longer than I anticipated. I would typically have 5 minutes remaining for both RC and PAT on practice exams (where I circled my answer choices), but on the real test, I just managed to finish on time.

Hope this helps!
