Hi everyone. I took the DAT for the second time recently. Here are my scores for this time:

PAT 16
QR 16
RC 29
Bio 21
GC 19
OC 17
TS 19
AA 20

I'm not very happy with my PAT or QR. Last time I took the DAT I got:

PAT 16
QR 14
RC 21
Bio 19
GC 23
OC 20
TS 20
AA 19

As you can see my socres are pretty similar, my chemistry went down, bio up, and my QR went up. Do schools get to see both sets of DAT scores or just the most recent?

Here are my other stats:

BCP: 3.14
Science: 3.31
Non-Science: 3.68
Total: 3.43

What do you guys think? I think I'm pretty average, not excellent, but not awful either. Seriously, what do you think my odds are? Thanks!

Oh, also I have over 6500 volunteer hours (6200 which were a mission I served for my church and several hours for Habitat for Humanity). I've been published for college research, and I went to the Galapagos Islands with Charity Anywhere to perform dental work and shadow. I hope this boosts my odds.

Your scores arent too bad, plus all the good stuffs you have done. Though, it all depend on which school you want to go. I have friends that got in with 16 (Meharry) but some were rejected with the same score. If you have money to spare, apply about 10 schools, dont waste your money on state school, b/c they only accept 3-5% out of state(only the excerlent ones). I think you will get in somewhere. Good luck

Anyone have any advice, or do you think I should give it a shot and my odds are on my side? Thanks Harley.

wow your scores didnt really change by all that much. makes you wonder whether it was really worth going through all that trouble for a second time around.

what happened in the orgo and chem sections?? did you forget to review for these the 2nd time??

I spent more time focusing on the PAT and QR...obviously the extra PAT study didn't pay off, but my QR improved.
