Hey everyone! I just took the DAT today, and this is what i got :

PA: 20
QR: 18
RC: 30
Bio: 22
GChem: 19
OChem: 21
TS: 20
AA: 22

I went into it really thinking I wasn't going to do well, and although I know this isn't amazing by any means, it's better than what I expected so I'm pretty happy with it!

I graduated from the University of Michigan with a B.A. in French
overall GPA. 3.6
Science GPA: 3.4

I'm planning on applying ASAP, and my top choice is Michigan.

What are your opinions about my stats and my chances of getting in?

Also, any suggestions on specific schools that I should apply to would be awesome!
My LORs are from my college Physics and Chemistry professors, and from my orthodontist/mentor that I've been shadowing.

OMG your RC score..I'm jealous 😀 congrats on the amazing scores! I think you'll be a great candidate as long as everything else on your app is just as great. Best of luck!

Thanks you guys...it's pretty tough seeing everyone else's scores on here that are actually amazing, I'm just thankful that I'm in the range for most schools.

My QR and GC scores are worrying me though, do you think they're red flags?

Overall in my undergrad science courses, I did better in gchem/physics/math than in bio/orgo so I focused my DAT studies on my weak areas and my scores kinda show that.

Do you think they will look at my transcript and see that my gchem/math/physics grades are much better than what DAT scores in those areas?

Your scores are great, don't worry about what you see on this site in terms of scores. It's not representative at all. A 19 in gen chem is definitely nothing to worry about. Between your DAT and GPAs your in a pretty good position in my opinion.
