Hey guys,
So I really don't want to retake my DATs but here are my scores:
QR=14!!! =(
RC=22
GenChem=19
Bio=22
O.Chem=30
PAT=20
AA=21 TS=22

I know overall my scores are pretty solid but...math! And also my GPA is pretty bad... a little higher than a 3! But I am retaking classes sooo....should I do it over? What schools should I apply to?

Thanks!

reallly depends on where you want to get into. Check out Predents.com

Better answer: Call the schools you've applied to, tell them you've got a 21/22/20 but a 14QR and ask if they suggest a retake. I would be shocked if they did but if you're really stressing about it than I think you should call them up.

Im in a pretty similar boat, but not retaking. i believe my efforts are better focusing on having a good semester. i emailed a couple schools, they didnt seem to think i needed a retake. 13 is embarissingly bad, but 30 OC is crazy good. I guess well see

took the DAT july23rd
PAT 19
RC 22
BIO 19
GC 20
OC 30
QR 13 ughh...
TS 21
AA 21

i feel like theyd notice the bad score to the point it drowns out the good ones...Or maybe im paranoid lol

Let me know I had a 14QR but good scores overall. I have not contacted my schools but their websites say they dont have minimums. I am just surprised there are so many higher QR scores out there. If they would just
give us pencil and paper I think we would not even be discussing this. To get a 16 QR you can only spend 2.30 min per question, to get a 18 you can only spend 1.87 min per question, and this is only doing the ones you get correct. Let me know how things go. I am sweating this one myself.

And if you did every question, you would have 1 minute and 5 seconds for every question: blazingly fast, especially with a sorry dry erase board.

I haven't called schools recently but I'll let you guys know what the deal is if I hear anything

thats not the way you should look at it... those people you mention who surprise you about getting much higher scores are using the same ugly markers with those ridiculous erasers. Point is, they are scoring high, why aren't you? This is exactly what an adcome would respond to you if you told them that

I feel bad for ya, you did great on the whole DAT, except for that QR. I think calling schools is the best advice given to ya. But also, you should keep the doors open for the idea that you "might" need to retake it again 🙁

i have a friend who got a 14 in math and got interviews and got into umdj
