Can anyone tell me how my progress is going? I've attached an excel document with my scores and the dates of the tests. I take my real DAT in 3 weeks exactly. I'm really aiming for a 20+ hopefully a 21AA. Do I have time to make it there? Kaplan is really frustrating me with how random the sciences can be. I really want to pick up something more representative, but I don't have the money for it after paying for Kaplan. Right now I'm focusing on improving my PA because I ALWAYS run out of time because of TFE.
Any insight is much appreciated.

I like your improvement in GC and Bio. OC is still stagnant, and you want to build that up also. Do you have the DAT Destroyer? One thorough run through that (while making flashcards of problems that you don't understand or get wrong) will put you up at a 21 for Bio/GC/OC easily.

IMHO, based on your present scores, the easiest way to build your AA up right now is to focus on QR and RC. That's your highest return on investment. Do DAT Bootcamp's Practice Exams in Reading Comprehension, and do the Math Destroyer. You should be hitting 23+ in RC and QR after those runs, which will be a huge boost to your AA.

PAT doesn't count towards your AA. Get it strong enough to score an 18+ consistently, but focus your time on the other five sections.

You've got three weeks. That's enough time.

Kaplan is TRASH. Don't let it get in the way of your confidence. Try to utilize other materials. I second using Destroyer. It is the best resource on the market. It's worth buying and doing well on the DAT than having to shell out another $415.00 to retake if you don't do as well as you'd like.

I'm considering splitting a bootcamp purchase with someone. Would that be useful? I'll look into destroyer. Would you guys recommend the complete destroyer package or just the math destroyer?

Actually got my hands on Destroyer just now lol. My friend let me borrow his.

Just to update you guys.
My test is next a week from friday. I took a full length on Bootcamp today and got a 18 bio/18 Gchem/20 Ochem/22 Reading Comp/26 QR which put me at a 19 TS/21AA
Are these scores decent for how much time I have left/improvement from my last test? How representative is this of where I actually am with my prep? I really would like to bring up all my sciences to at least 20 on the real deal. Also, my perceptual ability score for some reason did not save on bootcamp. I don't know why, but I'm going to assume it was about a 20 because that's about what I've been getting on their practice tests for that section.

First of all, great job on the improvement in RC/QR. That's going a long way towards fortifying your AA. PAT of 20 is absolutely fine, and it doesn't count towards your AA, so don't stress about that either.

As far as how representative DAT Bootcamp is compared to the real thing, here are my results:

General Chemistry- My actual DAT score was exactly equal to my average over the five Bootcamp Gen Chem exams.
Organic Chemistry- My actual DAT score was +3 compared to my average over the five Bootcamp OC exams.
Biology- My actual DAT score was +8 compared to my average over the five Bootcamp Bio exams.

A couple of things to note:
1. I doubled down on Bio significantly. I reviewed it on Anki, every single day for 2 hrs in the morning. I made Feralis' Bio notes my best friend.

2. I spent the entire two days before the DAT completely reviewing my 500+ OChem cards, notes, and Dr. Romano's OChem Roadmaps.

3. Both of these measures were done after my Bootcamp exams; I had like 3 weeks to work on this stuff before my DAT, but after my DAT Bootcamp exams.

Thanks for the reply. This is very helpful. So I think my plan for the next 12 days is solely to review my sciences. I think my other scores are in a pretty good place. I'll probably do some PAT generators daily and stay fresh with RC/QR with occasional practice tests. Do you think this is a good approach?
Math is the subject that I feel most comfortable with as I haven't studied a lick besides the practice tests for it but still managed a 26 today.

12 days is plenty of time to pull this off. Don't be discouraged by your scores. You will break 20 if you work hard. I think your plan to focus on your sciences while keeping RC/QR/PAT fresh is an excellent one and it would be the same thing I would do if I were in your shoes.

Good luck!

Perfect. I've been working through Gen Chem and Ochem in destroyer, and I'm finding it really really hard. Hopefully others are experiencing this too. My mistakes are really helping though and making the practice tests easier. I haven't gotten to destroyer bio yet, but I plan on doing that this week.

Go through each destroyer only once, but make a flashcard for each and every single problem that you get wrong or that you get right, but that you found to be tricky. Even if you don't understand just one out of the five answer choices, make a flashcard for the entire problem. And drill those flashcards repeatedly. You'll do well.

PM me if you want some moral support. I had some fantastic people who kept me encouraged throughout my study time, and I am happy to support you.

Thank you Mr. President. I may take you up on that in the near future.

Bleckkk FL #5 on Bootcamp didn't go how i'd have liked it to go. 18 GChem 18 OChem 19 Bio 20 RC and 19 QR. Reallyyyy shooting for that 21 AA and my DAT is 8 days away. Thoughts?

I've attached my 2009 ADA scores if anyone is interested... I'm one week out from my DAT. I'll probably use this week to review my science notes, take a couple bootcamp PAT/RC/QR, and I may or may not take the '07 ADA a few days out from my test.
