DAT scores!!!! Still can't believe it's done!

Wasn't getting any bite on the predental forum after a bunch of views so maybe this fits better here...(SORRY FOR THE DUPLICATE if you're reading this twice, but please share you input)

First, I wanna say THANK YOU! to everyone for their advice and help thus far. I really appreciate it and I actually have a "what are my chances?" question.

gpa is good I think (3.56 total, 3.43 sci)
DAT: 20 TS/19AA
16 in math and 18 in bio and 18 in PAT are the ones I'm mainly concerned about.

I think I did well, but should add more schools to increase my chances. I honestly think I have a chance cuz of my gpa and decent extra curric. stuff. Just gotta make sure I have a mix of the right schools.

Spent the past few days calling schools and looking up websites and from what I can tell some are full with interviews set up through dec 1st already so it's not worth the money trying to add them right? From reading sdn all the interview invites and on predents stats, mainly it sounds like even though I was thinking about adding these I shouldn't -NOVA, Midwestern and AZDOH are pretty full already and might not be worth adding now?

Ones I think it isn't too late too add and still are reasonable with my stats:Temple, Detroit Mercy, Indiana, Buffalo, Midwestern, AZDOH

then maybe Ohio State, Ukentucky, Marquette (can't figure out how much religious ties go into this one and how much is expected from applicants), Pittsburg....and maybe Tennesse or WVU (iffy on the last two cuz of their higher preferences for instate or less out of state spots), Michigan

I think I'm pushing it if I add a ton more, so max probably i'll add 4-5 more. What do you think? Thank you in advance 🙂

I don't have a lot of experience, but I'd say you have a pretty good approach.

Stats are good, I think you have a good shot.

AADSAS should be able to get your app out relatively fast since your GPA doesn't have to be verified.... I believe they will send it next mailing.

Also, depends how tight you are on money... schools like ASDOH seem full, but like you said, your stats are on target. So if your not extremely hurting for money, I would go for it.

I'm applying there and haven't even taken my test yet.

Thanks guys!! yea i'm trying to stay optimistic esp. cuz I think a retake is NOT needed...or at least I hope not. it'll just be sooo late in the cycle and I think I have a good shot. Please correct me if I'm being too naive though.


Plus dont' some schools hold spots for late applicants? I am hearing more about this now even though I thought they mostly tried to fill up by Dec. 1st. Trying to find a 4-5 more of those with still lots of seats to increase my chances....any suggestions?
still looking at temple, buffalo, midwestern, AZDOH, detroit mercy, michigan, ohio, pittsburg, and indiana.
