I just finished my DATs, and applied to UPenn, Temple, Maryland, Florida, and UMDNJ. As far as UPenn goes, do these scores have a shot?

AA - 20
TS - 20
PA - 21
RC - 19
QR - 21
Bio - 23
Chem - 20
Organic - 18

My GPA is 3.6, science is 3.5. As far as I can gauge, they are decent scores, but anybody have any experience with whether they would stack up to a school like UPenn vs. schools like Temple or UMDNJ (not saying they are bad schools)? Does that 18 on organic hurt me? Is my RC too low? Should I just shut up and enjoy the rest of my summer after not doing anything but studying for months on end?

I may have posted this in the wrong forum, I registered and immediately posted without looking around. If I'm ******ed, please call me out on it.

For Penn all the DAT scores look fine....I'm just not sure about the RC. They like an RC score of 20 and up but yours is close enough. Your GPA is a little low but there are definitely pple there with your scores. If you are a well rounded candidate, I would say that you have a good shot...especially if you applied early. Good luck!

I think the only thing that will give you a real good shot at any of those schools is if you were, say Vice President of your universities Pre-Dental Society. Other than that, you're a lost cause

Good thing I opted for that impromptu run at Public Relations back in 2003....everybody hated the community service guy
