1. choose the cheapest school
2. compare total cost of attendance as stated by the school (these figures are used in financial aid, and should be standardized across the country)

4. choose the school that is closest to your support system (family, friends, sig others) or the most convenient travel to support system

6. choose the school that is closest to where you wish to practice in the future

8. there is no such thing as "top 10 dental schools"

Note: it might not work as much for dental schools since many have limited scholarship funds due to alumni/development support. Don't lie... financial aid officers DO talk to each other.
