hey Guys,

so I know ADEA says it will take 2-3 weeks before the schools receive your scores, but from your experiences is this true or is it generally sooner? The reason I'm asking is because I wrote my DAT last Friday and today (Wed) Nova sent me an email saying they received my DAT scores. I called them (the lady wasn't very helpful) and so I'm confused. I did fax them my scores so do you guys think this is the scores they are talking about which they received?

She also told me they have everything for my application to be considered complete but thats impossible because not all of my reference letters have been mailed by AADSAS yet! I guess I will have to call back.

One more question, AADSAS doesn't list when your scores are received right? Do you just have to call up the schools to make sure that they received everything?

Thanks Gandvardia! Trust me I really do need some drinks lately with the way things have been going...but I'm just nervous I'm too late for this cycle =0(

But I know there's ppl out there who have their DAT scores in and can help me out with my questions...so please doo!!

I applied to NOVA last cycle. They are just very disorganized. You can call and try to clear things up as I did, but it doesn't really help. Some get lucky and I guess others don't. NOVA was unprofessional and a waste of an application fee in MY experience. I hope others don't have the problems I did.

NOVA, if you're reading this...just wanted to say your admin needs some serious work. Pretty pitiful!

So how do you find out if your scores have been received...do you just have to call up the schools? And does it in fact take 2-3 weeks before the scores are received?

my scores got sent out in 5 days from my exam. i took mine sept 22 and they got sent out sept 26. just call ada and tell them you want to see the status of your dat scores and if they were sent out yet.

I called ADA and they said that they send out DAT scores every Monday and Wednesday. I took my test on a Saturday and my scores were mailed on Wednesday of the following week.. So they probably do have your scores if it's been a week or two since you took your test.

..wow thanks bennijai and toothgirl! I appreciate the feedback! Geez I really thought it would take 2-3 weeks...I'm going to call the ADA on Monday and find out my status. If that's the case, I better get these last few things wrapped up that are required for some of my schools done and put in the mail!!! Ohhh the stresses of applications...
