Hi everyone,
I've read a number of posts regarding the issue of DAT scores and how they are curved from this forum. I just wanted to confirm my findings since I'm planning to take the test soon.
I had previously thought that the DAT was standardized by the scores of all test takers within a time period (e.g. 1 week/1 month) but that doesn't seem to be the case. It seems that the DAT scores are given to you right after the exam, so depending on which version of the test you get, your score will be standardized with all previous test takers that had the same version. Your score then isn't so much determined by how many people take the test around the same time you do, but rather by what version you happen to draw?
Any help is appreciated.
