Just finished my DAT today. It's my first time taking it, and I got different results than what I expected. My RCT was higher than expected (if you read any of my other posts, you would have seen me freaking out) and my Bio was lower than expected. I heard that I need 20+ in order to be competitive, and my 19 in Bio is killing me. I have a 3.5, and my app is not complete at any school yet... do you think i should retake? or just charge ahead with the secondaries?

Wow, that is great. Don't need to worry, I think you did great. I am scheduled to take it on the 16th, but will postpone it a couple of weeks. I don't feel ready, I started studying a couple of months ago for about 5-10 hours a day, but time is the killer for me. I don't know what to do, not matter how much I study, I will never be ready. I am using Kaplan review notes and Topscore. Any other recommendations? How can I improve the time matter, you see I think too much before anwering a question.

No way a retake! Awesome scores. As long as your application is in already then you are golden for admission! Where are you applying to?

I know how you feel. I took the DAT in late august and got similar scores but my app isnt complete anywhere. This whole waiting game is driving me insane. I hate the fact that we're considered late now. I don't know how late we are exactly. You shouldn't retake it. I got a 17 in QR, and even then, i didn't consider retaking it even thought it doesnt look great. good luck

Why on Earth would you retake? I love how so many of these breakdowns are about people posting their scores and digging for advice from the community about "what are my chances?" etc, etc. If you want real, constructive advice, the least you could contribute is a brief subject breakdown (study materials, impression of each section) in return. Just my humble opinion...
