Hello Everyone!
I am planning to re-begin my DAT studies soon as was wondering what study materials you all found to be most efficient and beneficial- specifically between DAT Bootcamp and DAT Booster and which helped you most. Thank you in advance 🙂

* for background i have spent my entire summer studying for dat using bootcamp and a little bit of booster but i am honestly no where near where i should be (like if i take my exam now i will 100% need to retake) so i want to go through everything again - i extended my exam another 3 months and am trying to decide which is most efficient; bios and gen chem are by far my weakest areas*

also im applying next cycle

Hi Lion,
You made a smart decision rescheduling your DAT because you did not feel prepared. IMO, always best to reschedule and avoid a possible retake. In a previous post you mentioned you had the DAT Destroyer and were going to use it as a supplement which in my opinion is the wrong approach. This is what I recommend, if you are weak in Bio and Genchem you should go through every problem in the Destroyer and you will be able to turn those weak areas into strengths. Depending on how weak you are in those subjects you might need to do some review using Bio Review Notes or your GC textbook, or something similiar. Yes the Destroyer is challenging but it is designed to prepare you for whatever you will encounter on test day, there are many versions of the DAT exam and no way to predict what you will get on test day, if only we had a crystal ball, but no one does. Everything posted in the ADA DAT Guide is fair game for the DAT, so best to be overprepared than under.

Hope this helps, Nancy, co/owner, Destroyers

Perhaps others will add their 2 cents.

I highly recommend Booster questions+anki+notes and/or AP Cliff notes for biology and Chad's videos and Destroyer for GC (this combo would probably work for OC as well). If you decide to continue utilizing destroyer, make sure you review the questions you got right and wrong thoroughly.

Hi again @lion_23! I see you reposted this from a few days ago. Instead of rehashing my advice from last time, I figured it was worth asking - did you give any other resources a go, like the Destroyers? I really do think they're very well suited for your current struggles and should really help you form a foundation on the exam.

Best of luck!
