Hey everyone, I need some advice. I've been trying to study for the DAT for like 2 weeks and I fee every study material I use is very confusing. Especially general chemistry, I mean its been 4 years since I've taken that class. Does anyone have any suggestions on study material? Im currently using kaplan, destroyer and princeton AP chem book. THANKS!!

AP Cliffs Biology seems to be really popular among SDNers... Not too sure about the best chem book out there, sorry

If you still have your old chem textbook- use that. That is what I used. I had Kaplan blue book, but it was pretty lean on gen chem in my opinion. Great for Ochem though.

If you want to just brush up a little bit I would say start with Cliffs Chem and see what your weak areas are. Then clear everything up with a text book if anything.

Bio: definitely Cliffs too. I felt like some questions were directly taken from there. Cambell (I think thats how you spell it) bio text.

Ochem: Destroyer, class notes, old tests. Destroyer definitely does a good job. The Road Maps are awesome and definitely more than enough.

QR: I haven't really figured this out yet. If you could get your hands on a NY State Regents book I definitely recommend it.
