Hello everyone,
I'm looking for used DAT and Math Destroyer if anyone wants to sell their books. I'm currently a undergrad student, so I'm trying to save some money to reduce my loans. Thank you in advance

no matter what buy: dat destoyer and dat bootcamp. the materials are worth it if youre going diligently study and make a plan to succeed. These materials are only going to work as hard as you are. good luck!

Tbh, those are not necessary, especially if you're on a tight budget. And since when did DATBootcamp/DATDestroyer start paying people to advertise?

@Bittercandy if you're on a tight budget, there's plenty of free resources out there for free. It's more important learning the foundational knowledge than doing practice tests. Once you're done learning the material, just use the free practice tests offered by different resources (whether its bootcamp, genius or other resources....they all offer a several free practice tests). Oh and here's a link to the 2009 ADA practice test: http://www.predent.org.vt.edu/admissions/dat-sample-test-2009.pdf.

Hope that helps 🙂

What resources would you consider necessary and free?

Thank you. I appreciate it. I only found the sample 2007 DAT test for free. Do you know what resources I can rely on to review for Gen Chem and OChem without paying for Chad's videos?

Destroyer, Bootcamp, and Chads are a must. That should prepare you enough.

there's a reason almost everyone on SDN recommends both resources. they are probably being paid off by both entities! the bottom line is they are the best. They work for people who study hard and make the most of them. They dont work for people who think just running through the pages and memorizing little facts are going to get them anywhere. the day you create a free resource better than bootcamp or destroyer, I'll stop praising them so much. best of luck to you! *EDIT* - i am not paid by either dat bootcamp or dat destroyer. i continue to promote both resources as they kicked my butt and got me the DAT score of my dreams. otherwise i likely would have gotten a 17.

Also, I'm not sure why people have been upset over prep companies advertising if they are. That's how businesses operate. I don't work for or earn anything from those companies, but I have used their resources and think they're worth it.

Because we're all entitled to FREE stuff! FREEEEE!!!

Seriously though @Bittercandy, try and find a used Destroyer book and get Chad's and Bootcamp. It's more economical for you to ace the DAT the first time than it is to mash a bunch of free resources together and have to retake a bad score.

It's funny how it's the SAME people promoting/advertising Bootcamp and Destroyer in every thread on a daily basis... it honestly raises A LOT of suspicians. Both are good resources but the way you guys promote these resources is really fishy. Super shady, hoping a mod can look into these guys

THE SAME PEOPLE!!! All 9000 of them!!!
Pathetic!
SAD!!!

On the contrary, for me personally, doing practice tests/working on problems is the more important part of the study process. Definitely enhanced my understanding of the basic materials. Can't do well on the DAT without tons of practicing...
