Hey guys,

I plan on taking the DAT in December (which is a ways away). I won't be done with orgo II till after this fall semester so I want to hold off on studying all of orgo till the end. So my question is what materials should I use to prepare and is the following a good route to prepare?

Summer study:
reading comprehension
Quantitative reasoning

PAT

Before thanksgiving:
Biology
Gen chem
Orgo chem I

After semester:
Orgo II

End of winter break:
DAT

I don't want to spend TOO MUCH on books and feel confident on most of the subjects except PAT and BIO without study. I heard DAT bootcamp was good. I would appreciate an analysis on my situation!

That's a really long time to study...are you confident that if you study quantitative now you'll remember it in 6 months? I would recommend shortening your study schedule a lot. Maybe start in September at the earliest. Get Destroyer, and any concepts you don't know you can find online without too much hassle.

I appreciate the feedback! I was thinking more of outlining my weakness like you said and then hone in more on "studying" that material when I'm closer to the test date.
