Hey guys,
So I have a question regarding the DAT that are pretty vague to me =.=

In general, are you suppose to take the DAT during junior year .... if so, which is better? Fall or Spring? ................ I plan to study the Kaplan BB meticulously for the fall of my junior year then take the DAT winter break but I'm not sure if that's how it works :scared:

Thanks 😀

Kaplan BB is OK, but I think there are much better resources out there. Check out the 'DAT Discussions' forum.

Yes, during Junior Year sometime. Winter break is good because you can solely focus on studying for the DAT. Just give yourself some time in case you want to take it again before the June following your junior year (the summer between Junior and Senior year is when you apply). You want your scores in by then.

I would HIGHLY suggest NOT to just study the KBB. Not only is it really boring in my opinion, but there are better resources out there. If you go to the "DAT discussions forum," there are tons of breakdowns posted where people list what they studied, their opinions of the materials, and how they scored. 🙂 Also, I find that just about everyone is willing to give advice and help! Good luck, and let me know if I can help with anything! 🙂
