Hi guys,

So I took the DATs for the first time this past January after having only studied for about a month (poor decision on my part) this was reflected in my first set of scores:

PAT: 18
QR: 16
RC: 21
Bio: 17
GC: 17
OC: 16
TS: 17
AA: 17

Obviously I knew a retake was in order so I bucked up and studied from the end of May until just today when I took it again. My scores are as follows:

PAT: 18
QR: 16 🙁
RC: 20
Bio: 21
GC: 21
OC: 20
TS: 21
AA: 20

So obviously there was a drastic improvement in my science and total science, as well as my AA...but I can't help but be really upset with my score in QR which I really thought was bound to improve. So my main question for you all is: is this bad QR score bad enough to overshadow my major improvement from a 17-21 in science and 17-20 in AA? Like enough where I would have to sit for a THIRD time??

Any feedback would be appreciated! Thanks!

did u use destroyer or some other resource for math? i got 18 in QR but i didnt study much for it except using crackdatmath for the probability questions. i ran out of time so didnt do other questions.

u could also try getting sat books from your public library and use those to practice questions.

I think your fine as long as you have at least a 3.5 GPA. QR doesn't matter as that much as long as you meet the cutoff, which is 16 from what I read on from this forum.

Perfect. I do have a 3.5 GPA...and as far as I can see I meet the averages for most of the 12 schools I applied to, most importantly all of Tufts averages. So fingers crossed they'll at least be good enough to get me an interview!
