I did apply to school already and have not hear back so will see!!!!!

Good luck every one!

No news is good news!!! I have not been rejected by any school and keep in mind my application was complete not to long ago so there is still hope! Just saying

Your positivity is good, but you have to look at things from a realistic stand point. No news does not mean anything but NO NEWS. The fact is you have two 15's on your DAT which is below the cut off and below average.

15 in reading comprehension is below the cutoff for the majority, if not all dental schools. I think you need to reconsider a re-take 🙁

I agree with the other posts, your Reading and QR score can be damaging, especially the reading.

Because English is a 2nd language they will give you some consideration, but that reasoning will not work for the QR section. Your science scores are fantastic and a 26 in Bio is off the charts. Depending on where you applied there is a good chance a retake may be necessary. If you do receive an interview I would be prepared to give an answer if asked why you scored low in reading. Dental school require a lot of reading and they want to make sure you can keep up the grueling pace.

If you need to retake I would use another approach for reading. I highly recommend you focus on increasing speed and comprehension levels. There are many different versions of the DAT and you will not get the same test on a retake.

Wishing you the best and feel free to pm if you have any quesitons

Take care..Nancy
