For people who have taken the actual exam before, can someone go through the procedures and what it was like on the actual day?

Like about switching scrap papers and how many do you get at a time? Do you get huge headphones to block out noise? Is there a break in between Natural Science section and PAT section? Someone mentioned that you dont have to click START right away after Natural Science, is that true? Or does the clock just run continously?

How is the resolution of the computer? What kind of monitors do they use? Is it a flatscreen or the old full monitors? How much space is there for you to write between the keyboard/mouse/monitor? Is it like those Kaplan computer setups? or anything you can tell me or advise me would be highly appreciated. 🙂

Sorry.. I'm just really nitpicky when it comes to my testing environment.. or just any environment. 😳

Mine was a little different- I only got 4 pieces of scratch paper and had to get up and sign out to get more if I wanted it before the break (which means wasting a good three minutes). I tried to conserve mine and got a new booklet during the break just to make sure i had enough. Mufflers were an option for us but they were old and not adjustable so they didn't fit well. I didn't wear them but I had gotten accustomed to having some background noise while studying. My friend said they hurt her ears and I didn't want the situation to be any more uncomfortable than necessary 🙂 There is only the fifteen minute break in the "middle" but I had a lot of time left at the end of my science section (20 min) - which is probably unusual, anyway, I got up during that and took probably a five minute break. The PAT was definitely the most stressful part for me so it was nice to have a minute to refocus before jumping into it. I know that really varies from person to person though.
My computer stunk but you can hear about that in the thread I started.. I didn't have much space at all to write, that was kind of a problem for me. Overall, the staff at the center was excellent, very pleasant and polite, but the computers were lacking. That may be what I get from taking the test in ND though.. 🙂

thanks for your input guys! can anyone else give their test day experience? it will be appreciated! 😳
